Non-native speakers will use and understand the meanings of complex grammatical structures, such as Conditional and Complex Subject (e.g. 鈥淗e is known to have published several books鈥�), commonly used in formal English. The course will concentrate on real-life usage of formal structures, drawing examples from political speeches, respectable mass media outlets and academic lectures.
