Academics First, Athletics Second!
Being a member of one of 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 Teams brings a much-needed sense of belonging and builds characters and skills that may not be found otherwise. 麻豆视频 University supports students who are looking to develop healthy life skills, including but not limited to physical, mental and emotional exercise. Joining one or more of 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 sports teams can offer the opportunity to do just that. Although athletics is always encouraged to students interested in joining a team(s), a student鈥檚 first focus should always be on their academic success.
The following requirements are only some of the high-level expectations for 麻豆视频 University athletes:
- Student Athletes must maintain SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) as outlined in the College Catalog
- Student Athletes must adhere to the Student Code of Conduct found in the College Catalog and referenced in the Student Handbook
- Student Athletes must follow the Student Attendance Policy found in the College Catalog

It May Be New, but it鈥檚 Just the Beginning!
麻豆视频 University was established in 1980 as a private, non-profit, non-denomination institution of higher learning. 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 Athletics Department began a while later. With Tommie Posley starting at 麻豆视频 University as Athletics Director and Head Coach in 2011, the sports teams at 麻豆视频 University are fairly young. Nevertheless, do not let that fool you. They are building 鈥渓egends-in-the-making鈥� with players from all over the world, graduating very successful players on and off the courts of life, and the Athletics Department at 麻豆视频 University has just begun! Let us take a look back at some memorable moments in 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 Athletics Department.
